Only in the aftermath do I start to feel this immense sense of nostalgia, gratefulness, albeit a tiny sense of loss (idky). I really do admire him – for his tenacity, wisdom, his Machiavellian politicking, his impact on my parents’ life, and our Singaporean predecessors – whether his methods were justified or not.

This is the end of an era, and a beginning of another.

RIP, Mr Lee.
